Public Transportation

Arnold Hall is accessible via several means of transportation. You will need to use a combination of public and private transportation since the final part of the trip must be made by automobile.

    We suggest you call Juan (speaks English and Spanish) at Safe Travels MA in advance of your trip to make arrangements. There are several ways you can complete your journey to Arnold Hall:

    Safe Travels MA can pick you up and drive you directly from Boston’s Logan Airport to Arnold Hall for $90 one way (up to 6 people).  He can also pick you up at train station on Rt 128 in Westwood for $75.

  • You can take the Logan Express bus from the Airport to Braintree for $12 ($9 if purchased online).   He can then pick you up and drive you for $60 (one way), from the  Braintree Logan Express to Arnold Hall.  Departure times for Logan Express

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Each full day of the retreat includes Holy Mass, several meditations or classes, exposition of the blessed sacrament and recitation of the rosary. The Priest conducting the retreat is available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. There is also opportunity for personal spiritual direction with a lay person or with the Priest.

  • Each room in Lockwood has a private bedroom and bath. Rooms are furnished with a single bed outfitted with sheets, two pillows, towels and an extra blanket with individual thermostats which can be adjusted for your comfort.

  • A daily schedule of events and mealtimes guides activities during your visit to Arnold Hall. There are several hours of free time blocked off during the day providing time for walks around the lake and grounds, spiritual direction and prayer.

  • The three scheduled meals are served family style, with the help of a waitress.  In order to help the staff, please arrive promptly to meals, and limit meal times to 35 minutes. The following medically prescribed diets are accommodated if requested. Please indicate this on the reservation as well as inform the director when you arrive.

    We do not provide special diets for vegan or vegetarian diets. There is usually enough food for people who follow this diet to eat salad, vegetables and fruit.
